1. Он не превращается, а предстает перед "читателем". Иначе говоря его иногда представляют как несколько проявлений одной сущности. И иногда даже дают собственные имена каждому его воплощению. Как было в произведении "Nonnus' Dionysiac".
2. Дети Пана - не боги, поэтому и имена их могут совпадать с другими. В произведении "Nonnus' Dionysiac" дети выступают как

то есть они духи. и еще вот:
